"Leva Bug"

Meet Miss Olivia...aka "Leva Bug". This precious little gal was so not interested in my camera this weekend, but I found out she LOVES music. Silly me for thinking this little tot would like a Disney playlist on Pandora....nope....she seems to be a fan of the Barenaked Ladies. LOL Her favorite is the theme song to the Big Bang Theory. Once we found some tunes she liked she was playing, dancing, and just having a good ol' time; and for someone who was born with a sensory disorder it is truly a blessing to watch her walking, dancing, and shaking that little booty of hers. Olivia's mommy has started a non-profit organization that provides weighted quilts for children and adults with sensory issues. You can get more information by checking her website at www.livybugquilts.com
A special "Thanks" to the Shugar family for allowing me to capture Olivia's milestones. I hope you enjoy your sneek peak!

Miss Sophia

So I was watching my BFF's adorable kids yesterday when Miss Sophia noticed my new studio/office equipment that she just had to test out. This girl LOVES to get her picture taken and for good reason...she is a born natural. I have been telling her mother that she is going to be a star one day...watch out Hollywood!! This girl poses herself and all I have to do is ask "What pose do you want to do next?" ha
I finally got to test out the new backdrops and studio lighting I received as gifts from family and friends. I am so blessed to have the most supportive people in my life.
Here you go, Mel.....this is what happens when I watch your kids. I hope you don't mind! ha

Meadow & Phenix

This was my first session of 2012 and what better way to start off the new year then to capture some snap shots of these two adorable toddlers. Could these two be any cuter in front of the camera, seriously?!

Just for Fun

One last December shoot to blog about and I am caught up from last year.
This is Cloie, my Aunt Exie's new family addition. Isn't she a doll? She is a Papillion breed and is so full of spunk. It was so hard to get her to sit still. With those ears, I'm sure she could hear me coming a mile away! She is the sweetest little girl ever and I'm glad I was able to capture a couple great shots of her.

Justus & Kiana

Add another December shoot into the mix...Thank God for the warm winter! These two faces should be nothing but familiar if you have ever been to my home because their pictures are plastered all over my walls. Since they were little I have always had a camera in their face....and if you haven't figured it out yet; they happen to be my niece and nephew. This is one of the few times where I was actually able to get some great shots of my niece, Kiana. She usually hates the camera, but is slowly starting to out grow it and now thinks her name is Miss Hollywood.

Dexter

Ok I am ashamed to admit it, but its time to finally catch up on my blogging. Nevermind the fact that this session was taken around Christmas time and I'm just now getting around to it....don't judge me! Don't worry though, this family received their pictures way before this post was even thought of! ha Better late than never....right?! I was so excited when Laura called me to schedule her son's First Christmas Shoot. He is a little ham in front of the camera and can we say Future Gerber Baby? I swear this child looks like a replica of the original Gerber Baby...just see for yourself.
